My 10-month-old can shake it with both hands and the clear cover means I don't have to worry about her tiny fingers getting pinched. The jingles make a nice, gentle sound that isn't too loud for a baby's ears.

My 18-month-old grandson grabs this every time he comes over — the clear cover over the jingles is genius because he bangs it hard and nothing pops out. The sound is pleasantly loud but not harsh, perfect for his little ears.

My 10-month-old absolutely loves shaking this tambourine—the sound is bright but not overwhelming, and I don't have to worry about her tiny fingers getting pinched since the jingles are safely covered. It's held up well to being dropped on the floor at least a dozen times already.
